Acclaimed young adult author and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A spokesman for the company stated: "After careful consideration, and following the appointment of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has decided not to publish additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of claims about conduct deemed unsuitable involving young women.
The company did not confirm the reasons for its decision, noting: "We refrain from speaking about private personnel issues."
A Highly Successful Publishing History
Walliams stands as a most best-selling authors for kids, with sales exceeding over six tens of millions of copies internationally in five dozen languages.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
Some of his works, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
To date, he has released more than 40 books combined, encompassing a holiday title called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins last autumn.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has been honored with National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He received an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to the charitable sector and arts community.
This development follows the naming of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's recent CEO in October.
